GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking nearly $2,000 from a Westwego man.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit April 18 against Matthew Monroe in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a balance accumulated on the defendant's Best Buy credit account. The suit states that the defendant is indebted for the balance of $1,851.92.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory M. Eaton and Michael L. Lancaster of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Stephen C. Grefer.
