Man claims he was injured while working for National Railroad Passenger Corp.

NEW ORLEANS – A man claims that he was injured during the course of his work.

Frank Russo Sr. filed a lawsuit April 13 against National Railroad Passenger Corp. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff, a resident of St. Tammany Parish, was employed by the defendant as an electrician at the time of the incident. The suit states that while the plaintiff was working on Nov. 6, 2015, he over-exerted himself and experienced a great deal of pain in his right elbow.

The defendant is accused of negligence through failing to give employees a safe work environment and the support needed, failing to prevent danger and overall negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Blake G. Arata Jr. of Rome, Arata, Baxley & Stelly LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.
