New Orleans Aerial Tours & Flight Training claims plane engine was not properly repaired

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking damages for breach of contract and demanding over $6,000.

New Orleans Aerial Tours & Flight Training LLC filed a lawsuit April 13 against Heart of the West Aircraft Engines Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant. The suit states that the defendant was to overhaul the engine of the aircraft and the plaintiff found that the aircraft was experiencing performance issues because the defendant allegedly failed to follow manufacturer's guidelines and specifications. The plaintiff claims that the defendant owes $6,973.56.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Irl R. Silverstein and David A. Silverstein of The Silverstein Law Firm APLC in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
