Mortgage company seeks over $90,000 from Orleans Parish resident

NEW ORLEANS – A mortgage company is seeking payment of a note.

Nationstar Mortgage LLC filed a lawsuit April 6 against Ronell R. Webb, also known as Ronell Webb, of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued the defendant a promissory note that has not been paid in full for the mortgage associated with the note. The plaintiff is seeking $94,379.86 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
