University of New Orleans alleges woman failed to pay promissory note

GRETNA – A university is seeking damages for sums due.

The University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a suit April 21 against Rhonda L. Wilkinson in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment due on a promissory note for the balance of $2,000. The suit states that the defendant failed to keep up with payments and is still indebted to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Wendy Ramnarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan.
