L3 Consulting allegedly failed to repay promissory note to commission

NEW ORLEANS – A consulting company is being sued for an overdue promissory note.

South Central Planning and Development Commission filed a lawsuit April 17 against Lena A. Sendik, as guarantor of L3 Consulting LLC, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff issued a promissory note to the defendant for the balance of $245,430. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of the note and the guarantor is now being pursued as the party legally responsible for paying.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Thomas K. Watkins Jr. of The Watkins Law Firm in Houma.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
