Southeastern Louisiana claims Jefferson Parish resident failed to pay over $1,000

GRETNA – A university in Louisiana is seeking payment of an open account.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Southeastern Louisiana University filed a suit April 27 against Christian Emerson Meyers of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging an open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an open account for the balance of $1,425.91. The plaintiff claims that the defendant has failed to pay any of the sums owed.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Meghan N. Beal of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771483.
