Jefferson Parish man alleges Deep South Audio owner breached contract in partial ownership sale

NEW ORLEANS – A Jefferson Parish man is seeking damages for breach of contract and payment of sums due.

Quincy Irvin filed a lawsuit May 2 against Rickey Wilson, also known as Ricky Wilson, also known as Rickey Wilson Jr.; Deep South Audio and Customs LLC; Deep South Audio and Custom Slidell LLC; and Deep South Audio and Tinting Academy in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff entered into an agreement with the defendant in March 2014. The suit states that the defendant had agreed to sell the plaintiff a 50 percent ownership interest in Deep South Audio for the payment of $50,000. The suit states that the defendant failed to meet the terms of the agreement, has failed to give the plaintiff the correct percentage of income and has failed to return money to the plaintiff.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Harrece C. Gassery of Gassery Law Firm LLC in Marrero.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Melvin Zeno.
