Jefferson Parish man seeking payment for rental apartments

Law money 10

NEW ORLEANS – A Jefferson Parish man is seeking damages for conversion and breach of duty.

Geoffrey Douville filed a lawsuit April 26 against Amy Knoll, William Walker and Nick Scramuzza in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of fiduciary duty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and the defendants executed a lease for the property at 2529 Dauphine St., New Orleans. The suit states that the plaintiff and defendant each contributed $12,000 toward the lease payment. The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Andrew Legrand of Spera Law Group LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
