Jefferson Parish residents allegedly owe $5,800 on promissory note for shoring contract

GRETNA – A contracting company is seeking damages for sums due.

120 West Partners LLC filed a suit May 9 against Alfred Griffin and Clementine Griffin of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff allegedly completed work for the defendant following Hurricane Katrina. The suit states that the plaintiff has not received full payment for the work that was done. The defendant still owes $5,800.

The defendant is accused of sums due and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Nancy A. Miller.

The 24th Judicial District Court Case number 771888.
