Group IV claims it wasn't paid for work completed at New Orleans property

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking damages, claiming that it was never paid for work completed.

Group IV LLC filed a lawsuit May 8 against Exeter 16279 DE LLC, QSH Design Inc and Carol King Seligson in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an open account for the balance of $115,839.96. The suit states that the plaintiff completed work for the defendant at the address of 1347 Coliseum St., New Orleans, for which the defendant still owes.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Richard L. Seelman of Balhoff & McCollister in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
