120 West Partners seeks payment for work completed

NEW ORLEANS – A company seeks damages for sums due and breach of contract.

120 West Partners LLC filed a lawsuit May 5 against Marie Lastie, also known as Marie Davis, and Curtis Davis of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract and sums due.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was contracted to complete a shoring contract in April 2012. The suit states that the defendants have failed to uphold the contract through failing to pay the plaintiff the entire amount that is owed to them of $30,000.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Blake E. Oakes of The Oakes Law Firm LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Rachael Johnson.
