University of New Orleans alleges Orleans Parish man failed to pay promissory note

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking payment of a promissory note.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit May 9 against Alfred G. Wiltshire of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note for the balance of $2,000.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Wendy Ramnarine of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
