University of New Orleans seeks $2,000 from Orleans Parish resident

NEW ORLEANS – A university is seeking damages for sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through the University of New Orleans filed a lawsuit May 8 against Breana R. Davenport of Orleans Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on a promissory note of $2,000.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Scott L. Smith Jr. of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
