Capital One seeking more than $73,000 on mortgage note

NEW ORLEANS – A bank is seeking damages for an open account.

Capital One N.A. filed a lawsuit May 18 against Antoine N. Neville, also known as Antoine Neville, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due on a promissory note.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for the payment of a promissory note in the balance of $73,949.84.

The defendant, a resident of Orleans Parish, is accused of failing to pay the note.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by Corey J. Giroir of The Law Offices of Herschel C. Adcock Jr. in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
