New Orleans woman seeking damages from building owner for a slip and fall

NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans woman is seeking damages for negligence in a slip and fall.

Ashley Morris filed a lawsuit May 23 against GCHP-Esplanade LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident which occurred on March 10. The suit states that the plaintiff was at 2535 Esplanade Ave. when she was slipped and fell in a lobby entrance.

The defendant is accused of negligence by failing to warn of the danger, failing to clean up the mess and overall negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. She is represented by attorney Anthony J. Milazzo of Hebbler & Giordano LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
