Vernon Parish woman claims she was physically removed from a Greyhound bus station

NEW ORLEANS – A Vernon Parish woman is seeking damages after she claims that she was physically removed from a building.

Angela E. Mackie filed a lawsuit May 18 against Kevin P. Fucich, Kevin P. Fucich LLC., Falcon Security Services and the on-duty security officers and Greyhound Lines Inc., owned by First Group, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and was injured on May 14, 2016, when she was asking a question about her Greyhound bus ticket. The suit states that the ticket agent became aggressive, the security officers told her to not speak and kicked her about of the building, forcefully shoving her out.

The defendant is accused of negligence and abuse of authority by failing to treat the plaintiff with respect and overall negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. She is representing herself.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
