Hammerman & Gainer claims city of New Orleans owes more than $270,000

NEW ORLEANS – A corporation is seeking more than $270,000 on an open account.

Hammerman & Gainer Inc. filed a lawsuit May 28 against the city of New Orleans and Adolph Delaparte in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging an open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking payment of an open account for the balance of $274,606.60 for services it issued to the defendant.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorneys Scott J. Spivey in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
