Stonetrust Commercial Insurance seeking over $55,000

GRETNA – An insurance company is seeking over $55,000 from a construction company.

Stonetrust Commercial Insurance Co., filed a suit June 2 against Galaforo Construction LLC in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff sold an insurance policy to the defendant and was supposed to be paid for the service. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the plaintiff and owes a balance of $56,773.

The defendant is accused of sums due.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Joseph E. Fick of Newman, Mathis, Brady & Spedale in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
