NEW ORLEANS – A corporation is seeking payment from another business that has allegedly failed to pay sums due.
Lone Star Industries Inc., doing business as Buzzi Unicem USA, filed a lawsuit May 30 against Baker Ready Mix LLC and Arnold Baker in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging sums due.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages from the defendant for the balance of $187,126.38. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay the money owed from a past judgment.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney David S. Rubin of Kantrow, Spaht, Weaver & Blitzer in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division J Judge Cherrell S. Taplin.
