GRETNA – A debt collector is seeking damages for sums due on a Wal-Mart account.
Midland Funding LLC filed a suit June 6 against Davante Parker of Marrero in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an unpaid balance of the defendant's Wal-Mart account which is currently owing $1,130.09.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Gregory Eaton, Michael Lancaster and Kevin Gillie of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division C Judge June Berry Darensburg.
