Man claims Delem Remodeling failed to complete work on home

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages for a breach of contract after work was allegedly not properly completed on his home.

Jesse Tornabene of Jefferson Parish filed a lawsuit June 1 against Daniel Morin, Eileen Morin and Delem Remodeling in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract, negligence and conversion.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages regarding the property at 502 Mayflower Drive, Metairie. The suit states that the defendants and the plaintiff entered into an agreement for a total home remodel and the work would be completed at the cost of $68,700. The suit states that the defendants failed to complete the work in a timely manner.

The defendants are accused of negligence, breach of contract and conversion.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Patrick Sanders of Sanders and Ford LLC in Metairie.

The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel Julien.
