Entergy claims Hard Rock Construction caused substantial damages to its property

NEW ORLEANS – A company is seeking damages after it claims a construction company caused damages that cost more than $36,000 in repairs.

Entergy New Orleans Inc. filed a lawsuit June 5 against Hard Rock Construction LLC in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims that the defendant damaged the plaintiff's property due to drilling that it conducted June 6, 2016. The suit states that the cost of repairing the damage was $36,686.84.

The defendant is accused of negligent destruction of the plaintiff's property, failing to properly inspect the premises before beginning work and overall negligence.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney W. Scott Brown in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Christopher J. Bruno.
