Man claims he was assaulted while working at New Orleans Recreation Department

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages in an assault case.

Enrico Villamaino III filed a lawsuit June 7 against Micah Lymous of Jefferson Parish in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging assault.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place June 6, 2016, when he was at the New Orleans Recreation Department, where the plaintiff and defendant worked. The defendant allegedly beat the plaintiff, knocking him to the floor and caused emotional and physical damages.

The defendant is accused of assault and battery.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Christoph Baiewski in Gretna.

The case has been assigned to Division I Judge Piper Griffin.
