Capital One alleges Jefferson Parish resident owes over $2,000 on credit card

GRETNA – Capital One is seeking damages for an open account.

Capital One Bank (USA) filed a suit June 9 against Christopher Ford Hayes of Jefferson Parish in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.

According to the claim, the plaintiff issued a credit card to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant accumulated a balance owing of $2,384.70 and has failed to pay it off.

The defendant is accused of having an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division H Judge Glenn B. Ansardi.
