C&G Construction allegedly failed to complete work in professional manner

NEW ORLEANS – A man is seeking damages, claiming that a construction company failed to perform work as it should have.

Paul R. Valteau Jr. filed a lawsuit June 14 against C&G Construction of Louisiana Inc., and ABC Insurance Co., in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff contracted the defendant to repair damages to his home. The suit states that the defendant failed to complete the work in a professional manner and left much of the work in a defective state. Despite complaints from the plaintiff, the suit states that the defendant has failed to make any changes.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract and performing work in an unworkmanlike manner.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Lee W. Rand in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division L Judge Kern A. Reese.
