GRETNA – American Express is seeking over $16,000.
American Express Centurion Bank filed a suit June 19 against Aisha Khalid in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.
According to the claim, the plaintiff issued an American Express Green Card to the defendant which was used to make $16,602.79 in payments and purchases. The suit states that the defendant remains in a state of indebtedness to the plaintiff for the full sum stated.
The defendant is accused of sums due.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Edward F. Bukaty III in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division F Judge Michael P. Mentz.
