Jefferson Parish resident allegedly owes Bank of America over $175,000

GRETNA – Bank of America is seeking damages for sums due from a Jefferson Parish resident.

Bank of America filed a suit June 30 against Arnelle Duskin Williams, also known as Arnelle D. Williams, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging sums due.

According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking payment of a promissory note which was issued to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant has failed to pay off the balance of the note, which is $175,743.74 plus interest.

The defendant is accused of sums due on a note.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason R. Smith of Dean Morris LLC in Monroe.

The case has been assigned to Division M Judge Henry G. Sullivan Jr.
