Woman claims she fell at New Orleans Save-A-Lot

NEW ORLEANS – A woman is seeking damages for a trip and fall at a New Orleans Save-A-Lot.

Rosa Sleeper filed a lawsuit June 30 against Moran Foods LLC, doing business as Save-A-Lot, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place July 12, 2016. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to trip and fall on a floor that had been poorly maintained.

The defendant is accused of negligence by failing to repair the condition and overall negligence of management.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney David W. Kavenagh of Kavanagh & Rendeiro.

The case has been assigned to Division C Judge Sidney H. Cates IV.
