NEW ORLEANS – A food store is being sued for breach of contract and sums due.
Thuy An Nguyen of Orleans Parish filed a lawsuit June 30 against Hoang Uyen Phan; Vinh X. Pham; Sam Lucky, doing business as Speedy Food Store; and SDC Super Discount Inc. in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging breach of contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for a balance of $59,325. The suit states the defendant borrowed money between January and April 2016 and has failed to pay back the balance.
The defendant is accused of breaching a contract and owing sums due.
The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Rene E. Sabathier Jr. in Harvey.
The case has been assigned to Division N Judge Ethel S. Julien.
