GRETNA — A Louisiana man is suing Vernon Jones, individually and doing business as VYSJ Transportation LLC for allegedly injuring him in a car accident.
Larry Thirstrup Sr. filed a suit July 3 in the 24th Judicial District Court, alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff was driving in Gulfport, Miss. on June 13 when the defendant failed to slow down and collided with the plaintiff's vehicle, allegedly causing the plaintiff to suffer bodily injuries.
The defendant is accused of negligence for failing to drive in a safe and careful way, and keep a proper look out.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Scott G. Jones of the Law Offices of Scott G. Jones LLC in Slidell.
