Subcontractor alleges Orleans Parish contractor didn't pay for completed work

NEW ORLEANS – An Orleans Parish man is being sued for allegedly failing to pay a subcontractor.

Achileas Kouloumpis filed a lawsuit July 20 against Kenneth Reynolds in Orleans Parish Civil District Court alleging open account.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff claims that the defendant failed to pay balances of $12,158, $19,660, $73,488.90, $41,820, and $13,225. The suit states that the plaintiff served as a subcontractor for the defendant but was not paid for the work done at several locations.

The defendant is accused of open account and breach of contract.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. is represented by attorney Michael W. TIfft of the Law Office of Michael W. Tifft in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division G Judge Robin M. Giarrusso.
