Karno 410 Bourbon Real Estate claims a lease agreement was broken

NEW ORLEANS – A real estate company is seeking damages for breach of a lease.

Karno 410 Bourbon Real Estate LLC and 410 Bourbon Real Estate filed a lawsuit against Silver Bourbon Inc. and Labeauti Inc., doing business as Beerfest, in Orleans Parish Civil District Court, alleging breach of a lease.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was leasing the property at 410 Bourbon St., New Orleans to the defendant. The suit states that the defendant breached the contract and lease agreement by using the property as a venue to sell alcoholic beverages, which was not allowed in the lease agreement. The defendants allegedly were warned of the breach on a number of occasions but have failed to stop violating the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of lease.

The plaintiff seeks all reasonable damages, court costs, attorney fees and all appropriate relief. The plaintiff is represented by attorney Robert J. Ellis of Galante & Bivalacqua LLC in New Orleans.

The case has been assigned to Division E Judge Clare Jupiter.
