Carmax customer allegedly owes more than $7,000

GRETNA — An asset management company is seeking more than $7,000 for sums due on a Carmax Auto Superstores purchase.

Deville Asset Management Ltd. filed a suit on Nov. 2 against Travis J. Austin in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging he owes $7,226.38 plus interest on an open account. The suit states that the defendant failed to pay fully for a 2011 Toyota Camry, which was seized on Dec.11, 2015.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by April F. Jackson of Eaton Group Attorneys LLC in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division B Judge Cornelius E. Regan.
