GRETNA – Discover Bank claimed in a lawsuit filed on June 1 against Yousset S. Dekmak in the 24th Judicial District Court that it is owed more than $15,000 under an open credit card account.
According to the petition, Discover Bank is seeking damages equal to the $15,119.46 balance due on the account plus interest. The plaintiff claims that the defendant has failed to pay the amount due.
The bank is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney's fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jeffrey M. Toepfer of Couch, Conville & Blitt LLC in Metairie.
The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Danyelle M. Taylor.
