GRETNA – A community college is seeking more than $1,500 from a student.
Louisiana Community and Technical College System, through Delgado Community College, filed a suit June 4 against Latoya D. Phenix in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging open account.
According to the claim, the defendant attended Delgado Community College in 2015 and failed to pay $1,525.17.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kaila Hutchison of the Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.
The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond S. Steib Jr.
