GRETNA – A man claims that he slipped and fell in Drago's Seafood Restaurant.
Joshua Cousin filed a suit July 24 against Zurich American Insurance Co. and Lakeside Seafood LLC, dba Drago's Seafood Restaurant, in the 24th Judicial District Court alleging negligence.
According to the claim, the plaintiff is seeking damages for an incident that took place on Oct. 11, 2017 when the plaintiff was a guest in the defendant's restaurant. The suit states that the plaintiff was caused to slip and fall in a puddle of water that had been left by the defendant.
The defendant is accused of negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Jason Giles of the King Firm LLC in New Orleans.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen Shirer Kovach.
