Nicholls State says former student owes more than $1,100

GRETNA – A university is seeking over $1,100 in sums due.

University of Louisiana System Board of Supervisors through Nicholls State University filed a complaint on Nov. 20 in the 24th Judicial District Court against Danielle A. Poree.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff is seeking damages for sums due on an open account. The suit states the defendant has failed to pay off the balance due of $1,166.00 plus interest for the cost of attending during the Spring 2012 semester. Despite amicable demand, the defendant has failed to pay off the sums due.

The defendant is accused of sums due on an open account.

The plaintiff is seeking all reasonable sums due, attorney fees and court costs. The plaintiff is represented by Kaila Hutchison of Louisiana Department of Justice in Baton Rouge.

The case has been assigned to Division A Judge Raymond Steib Jr.
