TAYLOR PORTER BROOKS PHILLIPS LLP: Construction, Employment Attorney John Andrishok Joins Taylor Porter

Taylor, Porter, Brooks & Phillips LLP issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.

Taylor Porter is pleased to announce that John T. Andrishok, representing clients since 1997 in construction litigation and labor and employment law, has joined the Firm as Special Counsel.

Andrishok is an active member of Associated Builders and Contractors and Louisiana Associated General Contractors and has successfully litigated construction matters throughout the Gulf South. Andrishok represents all aspects of the construction industry including public and private owners, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and design professionals. His experience extends to heavy highway, industrial, commercial and residential projects. He also devotes a substantial part of his practice to labor and employment and oil and gas matters. Andrishok has been active on the legislative front having drafted numerous industry-related bills. He served as Special Advisor to the Louisiana Law Institute’s Security Devices Committee, which developed extensive revisions to the Private Works Act that were enacted into law in 2019. He has also served as a Special Master in the Nineteenth Judicial District Court.

Andrishok has been recognized by Chambers USA for Louisiana in the area of Construction Law since 2012. He was selected by his peers for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America®, and is rated as AV® Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell. Andrishok is a Charter Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America, an invitation-only construction lawyer honorary society.

Andrishok earned his J.D. from Louisiana State University in 1997, and received his B.S. from LSU in 1993.
