NEW ORLEANS – A New Orleans man is suing his auto repair shop for a fall he claims was caused by one of its employees.
Willie Wilson filed suit on Jan. 27 in the Orleans Parish Civil District Court against Ibrahim's Autoplex.
Wilson alleges he was injured when an employee knocked him to the ground when he was a customer of the shop. The plaintiff claims the fall caused severe and disabling injuries. Wilson asserts the fall resulted in multiple bruises and abrasions, strains and sprains to his entire body, severe and permanent headaches and injuries to his head, brain and nervous system.
An unspecified amount in damages is being sought for pharmaceutical expenses, hospitalization, medical care, loss of wages, pain and suffering, residual disabilities, mental anguish, emotional upset, psychological distress, loss of enjoyment of life and rehabilitation and support care.
Wilson is being represented by Stephen Harris of the New Orleans-based Birdsall law Firm.
The case has been assigned to Division D Judge Lloyd J. Medley.
