GRETNA – A St. Louis woman is suing a bus operator for injuries allegedly sustained on the bus.
Paula and Hyram Brooks filed suit against EAN Holdings, Inc. and Karen Andry in the 24th Judicial District Court on June 29. Brooks claims she was riding a shuttle bus driven by Andry operated by National Car Rental.

The defendant is accused of failing to see what should have been seen, failing to keep a proper lookout, operating her vehicle with careless disregard for the safety of others, failing to stop the vehicle in a safe manner, not paying attention to the roadway, failing to observe other vehicles and speeding.
An unspecified amount in damages is sought for physical pain, mental anguish, medical care and treatment and medical expenses.
The plaintiff is being represented by Vincent J. Glorioso, II of New Orleans-based the Glorioso Law Firm.
The case has been assigned to Division K Judge Ellen S. Kovach.
