Roofing company sues customer for non-payment

GRETNA –  A roofing company is suing one of its customers for non-payment on an alleged addition to a roof job.

Progressive Roofing LLC filed suit against Harriet Lacoume in the 24th Judicial District Court on Dec. 10.

Progressive Roofing LLC claims Lacoume signed for additional work to be done to her home during a roofing job. The plaintiff alleges the defendant later refused to pay for the additional work and still owes $2,600.

Damages in the amount of $2,600 plus attorney's fees and legal interest are sought by the plaintiff.

Progressive Roofing LLC is represented by New Orleans-based attorney Michael T. Joseph.

The case has been assigned to Division O Judge Ross P. LaDart.
