NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana-based electric supply company is suing for  alleged non-payment of services provided on a nursing home renovation project.

Crawford Electric Supply Company Inc. filed a lawsuit against Quality Design & Construction LLC, JP Mack Industries LLC, Angelo Dicharin and Hartford Casualty Company in the Orleans Parish Central District Court Jan. 17.

The petitioner claims that despite the expiration of the contractual delay for payment and repeated request for payment, the defendants have not paid the total of $94,990.58 due for electrical supplies and equipment. Crawford Electric Supply Company Inc. alleges that the work performed was for the Tudor Square Home for the Aged.

The defendant is accused of failure to submit payment after amicable demand.

The plaintiff is seeking the sum allegedly due along with interest and reasonable attorney fees.

Crawford is represented by Francis R. White III of Covington-based Francis R. White III APLC.

This case has been assigned to Division H Judge Michael G. Bagneris.

Case no. 2013-600.
