Huey’s Diner sued for breach of contract with local restaurant supply company

NEW ORLEANS – The owners and operators of a local diner are being sued by a restaurant supply company after allegedly not paying the balance due for supplies and installation of certain restaurant equipment.

Nola Restaurant Supply & Design LLC filed a lawsuit against Franco Management Co. LLC, Hueys Jax LLC, DMK Group Three LLC and Jason C. Doyle in the Orleans Parish Central District Court on Feb. 5.

The plaintiff claims that the defendants owe an outstanding amount for work done on the Huey Diner project totaling $27,985.49.

The defendant is accused of failure to submit payment after amicable demand and breach of contract.

The plaintiff is seeking the full sum of $27, 985.49 together with legal interest and attorney's fees.

Jonathan S. Forester of Metairie-based Blue Williams LLP is counsel for the plaintiff.

This case has been assigned to Division M Judge Paulette R. Irons.

Case no.2013-0113.
