Suit filed against Excel Home Health Services Inc.

BATON ROUGE – A Plaquemines Parish woman is suing Excel Home Health and its representative for the return of her deposit in a canceled business transaction.

Kelli Vedros filed a lawsuit against Tim Bergeron and Excel Home Health Services Inc. in the 19th Judicial District Court, claiming the defendants are liable to her for the return of a $50,000 deposit in a business transaction that was nullified.

The defendant is accused of indulging in unfair trade practices and improperly withholding the plaintiff’s deposit without cause.

The plaintiff is seeking the full amount deposited plus attorney’s fees and legal costs.

Christopher Johnston of Lafayette-based Gachassin Law Firm LLC will represent Vedros in court.

This case has been assigned to Section 23 Judge William A. Morvant.
