Homeowner sued for $11K over home elevation

GRETNA – A homeowner is being sued by a home elevation company for alleged non-payment.

Davie Shoring Inc. filed suit against Ronnie Lightell in the 24th Judicial District Court on Aug. 19.

Davie Shoring Inc. contends they entered into a contract with Lightell to provide a home elevation at his home. The plaintiff alleges that despite the work being completed the defendant has refused to fully pay the amount in the contract.

The defendant is accused of breach of contract.

Damages in the amount of $11,140.60 plus attorney fees are sought by the plaintiff.

Davie Shoring Inc. is represented by attorney Anna E. Dow of Gonzales.

The case has been assigned to Division P Judge Lee V. Faulkner Jr.

Case no. 741-476.
