NEW ORLEANS – A woman is suing the Woldenberg Village facility claiming that a dog on the grounds of the facility knocked her to the ground and caused her to be injured.
Estelle McGill filed suit against Woldenberg Village, Inc., in the Orleans Parish First Civil District Court on May 27.
The plaintiff asserts that on Feb. 27, she was visiting her sister on the second floor at the Woldenberg Village, Inc. facility when she was suddenly and without warning knocked to the floor by a dog on the inside grounds of the facility.
The defendant is accused of failing to see what should have been seen, failing to warn the general public of a dog on the premises, failing to restrain the god on the premises.
The plaintiff is seeking an unspecified amount in damages for physical pain, mental anguish, medical expenses and permanent injury and disability.
