By Tia Benton | Oct 2, 2015

A bank is suing a Beaumont couple, alleging defaulted mortgage payments that could result in foreclosure.

Deutsche Bank National Trust Company, as trustee for Securitized Asset Backed Receivables, Trust 2007-BRI, mortgage pass-through certificates, Series BRI-2007 filed a lawsuit Sept. 14 in Jefferson County District Court against Rocky and Michelle Johnston.

According to the complaint, the defendants have failed to pay their mortgage for 13 months for their property at 4630 Ridgewood St., Beaumont. This failure brought the Johnstons' payments in default to $12,924.92, for which the opportunity to cure has expired, the suit says.

Deutsche Bank seeks an expedited order to proceed with foreclosure in accordance with the applicable law and terms of loan agreement, contract or lien sought to be foreclosed. It is represented by attorney Tracey Midkiff, Kendra Wiley, Lori Liane Long and Israel Saudcedo of Mackie Wolfe Zientz & Mann in Dallas.
