Sales rep for Bard Peripheral Vascular accuses company of withholding commission

0525

NEW ORLEANS – A Louisiana woman says her former employer, Bard Peripheral Vascular, refused to pay wages and commissions she is owed after being terminated.

Sarah E. Thorne filed a lawsuit Jan. 11 in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana against Bard Peripheral Vascular Inc., alleging unpaid wages, unfair trade practices and breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Thorne was laid off from her job as a commissioned salesperson for BPV in early 2015. In the wake of her termination, Thorne claims she was not paid for the wages and commissions she is owed, and that BPV changed the way her sales were calculated, allegedly to reduce her compensation after the fact.

Thorne seeks damages that she alleges she is owed. She is represented by New Orleans attorney Andrew T. Lilly.
