Production operator blames Wood Group and GOM Shelf for alleged work injuries

By Robert Hadley | Jan 20, 2016

GALVESTON – A Louisiana man is suing two Texas companies, Wood Group PSN and GOM Shelf, in a dispute surrounding injuries he allegedly suffered while working on an oil platform.

Dwayne Mosley filed a lawsuit Aug. 11 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division, against Wood Group PSN Inc. and GOM Shelf LLC, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Mosley slipped and fell on a hydraulic fluid leak on March 20 while working as a production operator for Quality Process Services. The suit says the defendants, who were responsible for ensuring safe conditions on the platform at the time of the incident, are to blame for the injuries Mosley suffered in the fall.

Mosley seeks a jury trial and compensation for his injuries and ongoing medical expenses, as well as loss of earnings and future disability and impairment. He is represented by attorney Marcus R. Spagnoletti of Houston, Texas.
